Wedding Reception

A Champagne Reception

The Portico and Great Gallery Rooms are splendid settings for a champagne/drinks reception.  The rooms are also available for the wedding ceremony itself.  Drinks and canapés can be served whilst your guests enjoy the view across the Tabley House park and it’s a great opportunity for photographs in the grand setting of the House.  You provide your own drinks and canapés which are served in the Portico room.

Wedding Breakfast in the Tea Room/Bistro

There is an option of using the tea room/bistro for a small wedding reception of up to 50 people. Robert Sexton who operates the tea room has run a number of events of this nature and would be happy to give you a quote for catering and bar facilities. Robert can be contacted on 07804 378504.

Design your own Wedding Reception with a marquee by the lakeside in Tabley Park.

There are no facilities for hot food or a bar in the house; however there is an option available for a reception in a marquee.  You will need to discuss in detail with the contact the specifics of what is or isn’t possible re: size of marquee, entertainment etc.  This option only available from mid-May to end of September. Please contact Alan Greenway who controls the lakeside site on: 07966 565258 or 01565 722291.  The costs for the hire of the ground with a water supply is £325. You will need to provide your own marquee, toilet facilities, catering etc. The maximum no of guests for this option is 250. There may also be an option of overnight camping. Alan would be only too pleased to put you in touch with suppliers who have worked on this site before.
